Full description
I have made this tote bag using a heavy weight cotton fabric in brightly coloured deck chair stripes of orange, red, blue green and yellow. It is lined with cream polyester/cotton. There is a clever insert of blue and white gingham at the top which can be drawn up with a cord when needed to make a 'lid' for the bag. Tie the cord into a bow to keep contents safe inside. If you don't need it, just tuck it inside. The ends of the cords are finished with little gingham tabs.
Measures approximately 37cm across the top, and is 27cm high.
The bottom of the bag has been boxed at the corners so that it has a flat base and the base has a layer of felt inside. At the base the bag measures 24cm across and 13cm deep.
The loop of each handle measures about 58cm, so that it can be used as a shoulder bag. Handles and the top of the bag have been topstitched with white thread.
This bag is an adaptation of a pattern called Marta from Burgio.
This item is one of a kind and ready to ship. I use second class post in order to keep postage as low as possible and will usually post same or next day as your order. Your item will be wrapped in new tissue paper whilst I will use recycled outer packaging if possible.
