Emerald is the birthstone for May and Taurus, but sadly, not all of us can afford Emerald jewellery!
One of the widely recognised alternatives as a birthstone is Green Onyx.
Onyx is a form of Chalcedony, and Green Onyx is the trade name for Chalcedony that has been dyed a deep, emerald-green colour.
The round beads have a lovely, rich depth of colour while the faceted ones add a lovely glint when they catch the light.

Full description
Each earring is made using a 6mm green Onyx and 4mm black Onyx bead, topped with a trio of AAA grade micro-faceted 3mm Onyx beads separated by tiny 2mm black Onyx rounds.
They are hung from gold vermeil ear-wires.
Gold vermeil is sterling silver that has been plated with 18k gold, and the wires are stamped '925'.
These green and black drop earrings measure approximately 1 inch (2.5cm), excluding the wires.
Your earrings will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a small organza gift bag.
