Full description

Handwoven in very fine Lithuanian linen. Gentle ripples dance across a gradient from deep blue to turquoise and the palest blue, the colours of the shallows, paddling as the tide comes in.

The perfect weight of wrap to accompany a light summer outfit and is ideal for a special occasion, with a gently beetled glossy finish it naturally regulates temperature. Very light, with a good drape, linen relaxes with body temperature and gets even softer with wear. It is improved by washing and a hot steam press brings out the natural sheen of the fibres.

Measures approximately 30cm x 185cm

Woven entirely by hand on a custom-built 8 shaft Swedish floor loom from surplus high-quality yarn otherwise destined for landfill.

Designed by Nell Swift in Peak District
