I’ve been working with glass for over 20 years. Ever since I first picked up my chosen glass and glass cutter, I’ve been hooked. I am fascinated by the properties of glass, the array or colours and the processes that that can be used to create different effects. There is always something new to learn and new tools and materials to invest in. It really is addictive!
What I especially love about working with glass are the colours. From crystal clear to shimmery dichroic to opaque pure blocks of colour that will never fade or dull.

Full description
Fused glass freestanding flowers on a solid wood base. This dinky sculpture combines pale pink, white and lilac fused glass flowers, a solid wood base and wire stems. This looks lovely either on a window sill or on a mantelpiece. Each sculpture is completely unique.
To make it, I used specialist art glass and cut and shaped individual petal and circle shapes from specialist art glass. I then carefully arranged them in my the kiln, trapping the wire between the layers. The flowers are fused slowly overnight in my kiln. Once completely cooled, I washed the flowers and glued them securely into the wooden plinth.
Size approx: 10cm x 9cm
Item comes securely packaged and wrapped in my signature turquoise tissue paper, sticker and string. A gift message can be included, just contact me to let me know.
