They say that a Robin comes into your garden when a loved one who has past on is near, and we’ve had a little Robin that follows me around our garden every morning when I feed our hens, yet he doesn’t eat the chicken food. He seems to like following me around, even if I’m just doing some gardening. He / she has been doing this since we lost my mum a couple of years ago so I like to think that just maybe it is my mum letting me know she’s still around.
Though whether this is true or just wishful thinking on my part Robin’s are such delightful birds that always seem happy to be around people, they’re beautiful singers with cheeky characters and are an asset to any garden.
