I'd like to say that the inspiration for this piece is the numerous beautiful Lake District sunrises, but I'd be lying. :)
However, on the few occasions when the sky is bright blue and the clouds have temporarily disappeared, sunrises over the fells and lakes are this spectacular, but this piece comes with a little taste of the 70's.
