Full description
The warm, earthy tones and durability of copper have made it a popular choice for jewellery throughout the ages. Many feel a deep almost spiritual connection and are drawn to its beauty.
I have created these beautiful stud earrings by hand sawing the shapes from copper sheet to which I have hand applied a frosted texture finish. I have soldered on sterling silver posts with scroll backs.
These earrings are designed to be slightly irregular.
They measure approximately 10,5 - 11 mm across.
These earrings will continue to develop beautiful rich colours over time. It's easy to quickly clean up using commercial products or homemade cleaning solutions made from common kitchen cupboard items.
