My world of donkeys! Those familiar with my prints might be aware that I create a lot of prints featuring donkeys. I don't think they are championed nearly as much as they should be in the art world, so I feel it is my job to do so.

Full description
This is a hand-pulled screen print entitled 'Magic Donkey No.7' printed in teal, pink and yellow/orange.
The print is one of a continuing series that I have made focussed on donkeys and their adventures in a strange and abstracted place. This print featured a magic donkey being held up by some magic force, contemplating some round shapes in a waking dream.
The prints started as a way to celebrate donkeys, as I feel they are somewhat undervalued in art and society, and as time has gone on the compositions have become more and more surreal!
I love using combinations of bright colours, and using very transparent inks seeing how the extra colours occur when overlaying the pink, teal and yellow/orange.
Teal, pink and yellow/orange System 3 inks on white Seawhite 300gsm acid-free paper. From an edition of 30, signed, titled and numbered.
The print image measures H42.5xW33cm.
The paper measures H59.4xW42cm.
Printed by myself in my studio in Sheffield, UK. Each one is slightly different, as is the nature with screen-prints.
All prints will be posted securely in a card tube and sent by first-class post (UK) or Airmail (rest of the world).
