The Oceans of our beautiful planet take on many shades of blue, from the darkest depths in the middle of the ocean to the almost crystal clear waters of the Caribbean.
Inspired by the translucent waters, this needle felt mermaid has been created using a variety of soft blues and brilliant whites.
Highlights of soft pink have been added for a delicate finish.
Hand felted onto a wire armature using carded wool batts and merino wool for the details.
She measures 8 inches in length from the top of her head to the base of her tail and has been hung using invisible thread for a magical floating display.
