It is true, as they say, that the blossoms of spring are all the more precious because they bloom so briefly - Murasaki Shikibu
Is there anything more beautiful than watching the blossom trees releasing their blossom leaves upon a spring time breeze, blanketing the ground with their gentle pink petals?
Inspired by the blossom trees this needle felt figurine has been created to capture the delicate colours, flowers and gentle breeze of the spring season.
She has been hand felted using using carded wool batts in soft pink and soft white for the flower detailing on her gown.
This figurine has been felted on to part of a polystyrene medium for structural support.
Her hair has been styled to give the impression it is blowing in the wind.
Standing at 6.5 inches in height and almost 3 inches in diameter at the bottom.
A unique design which shall not be replicated. This is not a toy. For display purposes only.
