I wanted a combination of my popular Sea Hearts and my Sailboat so designed this pretty little sea scene in a heart.

A stained glass suncatcher entirely handmade using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A Sailboat on the sea in a heart.
I designed this as a combination of my popular Sailboats and my Sea Hearts.
In this small space I have managed to 'paint' a picture of a beach, waves lapping the shore, a little red sailboat with white sails on aquamarine waves and above a pretty blue sky. I don't actually paint with brushes but the different colours of glass are far better at depicting the pretty scene and the colours of the glass will not fade.
I've used textured and iridescent glass so it has lots of movement and the heart is framed with twisted wire for neatness and strength.
This listing is for one sailboat heart.
This will make a lovely present. It is quite unique. The two suncatchers shown here may look the same but the boats are deliberately different red glass to ensure their individuality.
The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top of the heart. It is 10 cm x 10 cm
