Full description
A hand painted fridge magnet with a stylised black cat wearing a colourful vinok - a flower crown traditionally worn by girls in Ukraine. The flowers are poppies, cornflowers and daisies, and the vinok has red, blue and yellow ribbons to match them. The cat is sat on a light yellow background.
This original Ukrainian cat is painted in acrylics by Kim Onyskiw on a 10cm x 10cm (4" x 4") canvas board, finished with a layer of clear varnish to make it more durable. An 18mm magnet is attached to the back to make this a magnetic piece of art which can be displayed on a fridge or other magnetic surface.
If sold, 50% of the item price of this painting will be donated to AUGB's Help Ukraine fund.
