All the items in this collection are crafted from reclaimed hops poles.
Yes these items were once stuck in a field in the Worcestershire countryside supporting the fruits for your favourite beverage! The poles, having gone into retirement, have now been hand crafted into the items of this collection.
Each item is completely unique and may have many features from its past life, weathering, cracks, splits, staple and 'U' nail holes. If you're looking for a perfect bit of wood then these are not for you. We consciously try to select timber that reflects the history from its previous life and do not over finish areas that were part of the original exterior in order to retain some of the original patina.
In doing so each piece tells its own unique story!
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Mug Pole
Bring back the mug tree, with our Rustic Mug Pole from our reclaimed hops pole collection.
A super sturdy take on the classic mug tree, with biscuit jointed feet and dowelled mug tower.
The feet are set at 90 degrees so it can be placed in a corner, but are straight across the back so it can be placed against a wall. The mug pins are 12mm diameter to take the heaviest of mugs.
The mug pole is designed to hold 4 mugs and is 34cm tall and 25cm at the widest point of the base and is 14cm deep.
The mug pole is finished with natural oil to bring out the grain and other features unique to the material that it's made from.
Please note, the photo is of a typical example and will not be identical to the one you receive, as due to the nature of the material used each piece is completely unique.
