I had a friend (yes, really...) who is a talented hat-maker. One day, after listening to me bemoaning the price of linen, she decided to shut me up by posting me all her scraps from lining her hats. It did indeed silence me - at least for as long as it took me to piece together this collection of linen and cotton/linen blends.
