Full description

A beautiful deep blue, Black Opal Cabochon, in a rounded oval, from Lightning Ridge, Australia, with blue flashes and some green, ready for jewellery designers to create something stunning. This is a really lovely and quite substantial stone.

This opal has mostly deep blue tones, so have named it a midnight blue galaxy.

A lovely Black opal is a deep grey with blue and some green flashes. A subtle colour play within this gemstone. Dependant on how the designer backs this item, more or less colour play will show. I leave that in the hands of the professionals, but think it would make a fantastic focal centre point in a pendant or ring perhaps.

Photos were taken in natural light, however, Opals are so difficult to photograph successfully.

I have attempted to take many photos so please review all photographs, but if you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask.

Approximate measurements: the length is approx 10mms, the width at its widest point is approx 8mms and the depth is approx 3mms, measurements taken at its widest and thickest points.

Colour Disclaimer. Actual colours may vary. This is due to the fact that every computer monitor has a different capability to display colours and that everyone sees these colours differently. Therefore I cannot guarantee that the colour you see accurately portrays the true colour of the product.
