The dichroic glass cabochons for these earrings were handmade, by me, with love.

They were fused in my glass kiln to very high temperatures, 1500 degrees F and annealed for strength.

They each comprise 2 layers of carefully handcut bullseye glass,with the top, dichroic, layer rather magically reflecting or refracting different colours as they catch the light.

Dichroic glass has to be the most perfect glass for a glass addict like myself. What I put into the kiln is never what comes out. I call it Magic.

Note the word Dichroic means showing different colours when viewed from different directions

The earrings are hung from silver plated bails and then sterling silver hooks, the bails being securely glued in place to the back of the glass with the best glue available E6000..

I post these in a little white gift box as shown in the photos and a Pip box so they can be popped through your letterbox.

I've taken several photos of the earrings to try to show you the colour which changes in the light. this is a feature of wonderful dichroic glass. The last picture shows 5 pairs made in the same batch and all available as separate listings.
