I have a love of natural history and as a photographer and artist, books are a huge inspiration for me. Vintage books especially so. The book this image was taken from was published in 1946 and is crammed full of beautiful illustrations. Cyanotype is a Victorian process so using an image of someone that lived during that era and reproducing it in this way works so well and I hope you think he looks just as amazing as I do! Charles Darwin was born in my home town of Shrewsbury in 1809 and went on to change the way in which we understand the natural world through his theory of evolution.

This is an original cyanotype of an illustration of the English Naturalist Charles Darwin.
The image is mounted and backed in cream mountboard.
Printed on to a high quality 300gsm watercolour paper, this work is original and unique and the photos you see are of the actual item you will receive.
Image is approximately 6x4 inches, overall size including mount is 8x6 inches.
The mounted print will be sent in an acetate sleeve for protection and card backed envelope via Royal Mail 1st Class
