The idea is to create something new from old, the finished piece isn't meant to be perfect. Instead, retain marks, stains and scratches, part of the original character of the ceramic. All Sterling Silver is either recycled or repurposed.
Jewellery boxes are made from FSC®-certified cardboard and water-based glue. Jewellery box inserts are made from tall oil, a by-product of wood pulp industry. All paper, card, glue, inks and delivery boxes used are made from recycled materials.
The idea is to create something new from old, found by chance, full of history and character. To present and deliver unique Eco Friendly gifts in Sustainable Packaging.

Additional terms
All finds personally collected from river banks, recycle shops, beaches, wherever dropped, lost or donated. Ceramics are found, cleaned and shaped into new stories. Every piece is individual, nothing replicated, however, due to repetitive patterns there will be some similarity but only through the ceramic material not in the final piece. Ceramic will show marks, scratches and imperfections, all part of its history and journey.

I love collecting anything broken, lost or found by chance. A small patch of ground beside the River Tees often gets boggy and drenched during heavy rains. The downpours expose all sorts of broken pot, glass, bits of pipes and wonderful oyster shells.
I found a lovely piece of ceramic distinctive Blue Willow Pattern. I thought the shape and size made it perfect for a hanging decoration. I’ve drilled a hole and sanded around it on the back, sealed with Eco Friendly non toxic matt sealant. Front glaze slightly rubbed off in places but continues to catch the light. Beautiful back glaze is crackled through age. The shape is exactly as I found it, a moment in time.
