I love chickens, i loved the film Chicken Run ,and ,I also had some as pets - they are absolutely hilarious and each chicken has their own personality - so I just needed to make one !

Primitive Chicken is made from tea dyed calico . Her comb is made from homespun fabric as are her bloomers. She has a hand crotched 100 % wool shawl ,finished with a big vintage button and she has a leather handbag in which she keeps some spare nesting material ( for emergencies- you just never know)! Her Mary Jane's are hand stitched felt ,finished with a mother of pearl button. She has been stuffed with wool which conforms to British standards. Her wings have been defined with hand stitching and her knee joints have been hand stitched.
She is about 24cms sitting and she is about 45 cms overall.
This young lady is sold as a collectable and is not suitable for children.
