A plain and simple vintage tablespoon handstamped with the words AWESOME COOK in block capitals in the bowl. It's a proper big tablespoon that holds an actual tablespoonful, about 22cm long, with an 'old english' style handle. The perfect gift for the awesomest cook you know, or just a mood-booster for yourself.
This listing is for ONE spoon. You will receive the spoon shown in the photographs. The lettering is coloured with a non-toxic, water-based acrylic ink. Wash carefully by hand as the colour is not indestructible - the lettering, however, is stamped into the metal and should last pretty much as long as the spoon does.
Please note that although this spoon is still solid, sound, heavy and perfectly useable, it is a vintage one - in fact it's probably an antique - so it's a bit worn, scratched, tarnished and discoloured. I won't be a bit offended if you head off to someone else's shop at this point - if that sort of thing bothers you then this may not be the spoon for you. This spoon has been around a bit and has character. It's a survivor. If you were looking for a mirror-finished brand new spoon, this isn't one. Just so you know. It is, however, perfectly useable for measuring out dessertspoonsful of cooking ingredients, stirring, folding-in, basting, and fending off premature bowl-lickers.
Enjoy the awesomeness!
