This has been on the shelf for years, finally today I drilled the hole to make it into a light pull approx 25 mm diameter x 46 mm high

Full description
A wood turned piece of apple wood with a 3mm hole through for a light pull string. Finished in wax. Note one end the hole is not quite central...ho hum...
