There were some timber sections leftover from some bowls I made a few years ago with lovely timber grains, so I sliced them up and glued them to some plywood to make some wings, then found a lovely piece of apple wood with beautiful spalting patterns ...and voila, (Polished then a light coating of wax, glued with a hot glue gun and PVA glue)...it looks good... with a hook so it can be hung. The propellor and wheels go round, so make a nice toy:- probably not suitable for under 36 months.

a bi plane I made from some old wood, I think apple from our garden and other left overs to make a really attractive selection of wood grains (The wood on the wings have been stuck to plywood, to make them strong)
