Full description
This beautifully soft and lightweight scarf has been hand felted using merino wool fibres. Several layers of woollen fibres in a gorgeous amber colour have been laid out and a floral design added to one side using wool and silk fibres. The reverse of the scarf has been left plain. The scarf has then been wet felted which causes the wool and silk fibres to bind together to create a lightweight woollen fabric.
The resulting scarf measures approximately 166cm x 25cm. It can be draped around the shoulders but is also long enough to be wrapped or tied around the neck for additional warmth if required.
The scarf will be shipped wrapped in tissue paper with a small card giving brief information about the felting process and washing instructions.
