Inspiration
I was inspired to paint a Kingfisher after I caught a fleeting glimpse of one on a visit to a local Shropshire nature reserve. I also had an urge to try out some new beautiful watercolour paints I had recently acquired and brighten up a dull January day by painting something colourful !
I used Daniel Smith watercolour paints, premium artists grade. A few iridescent shades helped to make those vivid colours 'pop'. I added some finer details with coloured pencils and finished with some ink and paint splashes.

Full description
An open edition signed high quality print of an original painting of a Kingfisher. The original painting is mixed media. I used watercolours, polychromos artists colouring pencils and drawing inks. Each print is professionally mounted with a textured white mount and is cellophane wrapped.
Measurements
Including the mount the print is 305mm x 410mm ( 16 x 12 inches)
The print will be wrapped in tissue and packed in a sturdy box with ' signed for' delivery
