Full description
I recently made a couple of single daisies and as I love blues I had the idea to make a larger piece with different types of blue glass.
This suncatcher is quite a special piece and would make a lovely present for someone who is having a significant or as a Mother’s Day gift.
I have combine three different types of blue glass with twisted wire, two things I love working with to make this lovely piece.
Each piece of glass has been cut by hand, ground, washed, foiled and soldered together. The daisies have been attached to a ring of twisted wire with wire scrolls added for strength and interest.
This piece measures 25cms x 31.5cms approx.
The glass used is pale blue florentine glass, blue streaky glass and blue Yorkshire glass. Each daisy has a white centre and different green leaves.
I will supply a window hook so you can hang it in the window as soon as received. Please remember to wet the plunger before pushing firmly on to the window.
I will normally send this the following working day using special next day delivery which guarantees delivery by 1.00 pm the following day (except Saturdays).
