A lilac crochet baby hat for newborns up to 3 months, made by hand by me and finished with a bobble stitch flower and a detachable pastel faux fur pom pom.
I crocheted this little beanie using soft, lightweight lilac acrylic yarn. The raised flower adds texture to the front, while the fluffy pom brings together shades of pink, lilac and other pastel colours. It's a cheerful little hat for cooler days in autumn, winter or spring.
Whether you're putting together a baby's hospital bag, choosing a new baby or baby shower gift, or looking for something for those first photographs, this hat is a practical addition to a newborn wardrobe.

Size: Newborn to 3 months
Colour: Soft lilac with a multicoloured pastel pom pom
Material: 100% acrylic yarn and faux fur pom pom
Design: Crochet beanie with raised bobble stitch flower
Care
Detach the pom pom before washing. Machine wash the hat on a gentle 30°C cycle and cool tumble dry. Spot clean the pom pom only, and use a cool hairdryer to fluff it if needed. Keep away from fire and check regularly for signs of wear.
