I was taught to knit at a very young age by my Mum. Her Mum and her three sisters all knitted so there was no getting away from it! I have never lost the passion for knitting and later also learned crochet too from books and online. I have a 'day job' working with special needs children so most of my knitting and crocheting is done in the evenings while sat on the sofa watching the soaps and drinking tea. I live with several chronic illnesses including spinal degenerative arthritis and hypopituitarism which is a rare and life threatening condition.
Most of my makes are for baby as these seem the most popular but I'm just as happy making larger projects for adults too or even the home. My shop here on Folksy opened 11/7/12
