I'm Carol, and I hand knit and crochet baby clothes, blankets, hats and little gifts from my home in Kent.
Knittingtopia is now focusing on handmade pieces for babies and little ones, with lots of cosy knits, colourful crochet and one-of-a-kind makes appearing in the shop.

Full description
A matching mum and baby crochet hat set, handmade by me in lemon yellow with puff flower details and colourful faux fur pom poms.
I've crocheted one adult beanie and one 0-3 month baby beanie in soft 100% acrylic yarn. Both have the same raised puff flower motif and a fluffy faux fur pom pom tipped with orange, green and cream. The pom poms attach with an elastic loop and hidden button, so they're easy to remove before washing.
The matching design makes this a cheerful set for winter walks or mum and baby photos, and it would also make a thoughtful new mum or baby shower gift.
Size
Adult hat: approximately 23-24 inch (58.5-61 cm) head circumference
Baby hat: 0-3 months
Materials and care
Hats: 100% acrylic
Pom poms: faux fur
Remove the pom poms before washing.
Machine wash the hats at 30°C on a gentle cycle.
Spot clean the pom poms.
To fluff the pom poms, use a gentle blast from a hairdryer on a cool setting.
Keep away from fire.
Please regularly check the buttons for looseness and the hats for signs of wear and tear.
