Both sides are a smooth finish which are ready to paint, signature, decorate, stain, or simply leave plain.

The 50 pence is for scale only

The laser process produces a brown finish to the edges of the MDF, this along with any marks on the face of the item can be removed by a light sanding or simply painting over.
