Hello and welcome. I make jewellery out of hand rolled paper beads which I sell in aid of the St Wilfrid's centre for vulnerable and homeless adults. Check out their website https://www.stwilfridscentre.org/

I use recycled paper and I get inspiration from the colour of the paper and whichever pre-loved beads I could find to complement my design - This means that no two pieces are alike.

I add new creations every few weeks, so please feel free to come and browse again and again for that one-of-a-kind piece. If you like what you see and want to buy more than one piece, then please let me know as I am very happy to combine postage for you.

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.

Read the Folksy Returns Policy.

Full description

Ras-de-cou necklace made of round cored european style paper beads on a silver plated snake chain, complemented with preloved metal separators.

The paper beads are made by handrolling strips of an old OS map of Oxford into round beads which were then varnished and inserted with silver plated core ends. The beads were threaded on this collar length snake chain and complemented with preloved metal separators. Two separators are cylindrical and have 'Love' written on them and the two end ones are heart shaped.

The necklace is about 18 1/2 cm in drop from the top of the clasp to the bottom of the central bead.

Please note that, as I work with recycled paper, and with whatever design is on a page, the beads are not identical.

My jewellery is sold in aid of the St Wilfrid's centre for vulnerable, socially excluded and homeless adults.
