These fairy doors are entirely handmade by ourselves bar the door handles. We start with a block of reclaimed wood from old broken furniture and cut it down into the planks, lintels, hinges, and doorposts that go together to make these wonderful looking real oak doors.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Anyone who knows the Fae would know full well not all are fluffy and full of sparkles! In the dark depths of any garden they lurk ready to bewitch the passers by. The Goblyns and Dark Elves need doors as much as any Fair Fairy, and these Dark Doors will make them as happy as they can ever be. Forbidding and creepy to look at during the day, the glow in the dark backing (we mix ourselves) gives the effect in the deep night that the lights are on behind the doors, and dark plots are afoot.
Made from Oak and ply backed with the frames pinned on, they are made with high quality waterproof glue, resin door handles, safe wood dyes and finished with a quality Danish oil, making them suitable for both outdoors and indoors.
All the doors are locked from the inside, so be vigilant!
