As soon as I spotted this remnant I thought it was the very epitome of Spring, with its cheery crocus print. It really does put a smile upon your face and is perfect for a spot of Spring retail therapy!

Perfect for Spring, this gorgeous floral shopping bag is made from a remnant of vintage Colefax and Fowler cotton chintz fabric featuring yellow crocuses on a background of tiny yellow trefoil leaves. It is lined with co-ordinating yellow ticking stripe cotton fabric. The fabric is unused but quite old so I have given it freshening wash!
The bag is super spacious and will fold up to fit neatly into your handbag, but is large enough to fit all manner of goodies. Please note that this is made from a lighter-weight fabric than my other bags so if you're looking for a sturdy shopper, why not look at an equally lovely floral bag made from some vintage Sanderson floral upholstery fabric.
It measures approximately 47cm x 37 cm and the straps are long enough to wear as a shoulder bag. I've tried to show it's size in relation to a magazine in the last photograph to give you an idea of just how gloriously capacious it is!
