Full description
Pottery colander berry bowl wheel thrown and glazed in ice blue. Handmade Stoneware Pottery by littlewrenpottery on Folksy.
This bowl is 7.2 inches (18.5 cm) in diameter and 4.7 inches (12 cm) in height.
This berry bowl colander was handmade from white Devonshire stoneware clay. It's ideal for washing fruits in and the blue speckled glaze would contrast well with the bright reds of strawberries in summer.
The piece was turned and finished when leather hard, each of the holes being cut and finished individually by hand. The holes have been cut into a diamond pattern inside the base and around the edge of the bowl. You can still see soft throwing rings where my hands have drawn the pot upwards and a blue glaze decorates the inside and outside.
This piece can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
The listing you are purchasing is in stock and ready to dispatch. This piece will be posted Royal Mail second class parcel post in the UK which can take 1 - 2 days.
