Full description

Jayne named yarn bowl in simply clay. Handmade Stoneware Pottery by littlewrenpottery on Folksy.

Yarn bowls are approximately 6.1 inches (15.5 cm) in diameter and 3.9 inches (10 cm) in height.

Sometimes with handmade items things don't go as you'd expect and with this yarn bowl there's some warping around the top rim edge making it slightly oval in shape.

This named yarn bowl features the name 'Jayne' carved into the front making an ideal personalised gift. The inside of the J has been cut out to be the hook for the yarn to loop into when knitting. It's been glazed simply in a transparent glaze but you can still see the name underneath as it catches the light.

Hand thrown on my potters wheel this ceramic yarn bowl is glazed in ice blue. It features a gently bulbed shape to cup balls of yarn inside as they're being used. Using a yarn bowl prevents your balls of yarn from rolling around on the floor away from pets or little wandering hands.
