Im from the beautiful county of Northumberland where i get most of my inspiration from , i love nature so most of my paintings are of wildlife but i also have sold a number of pet portraits for customers.

Full description

A watercolour of a giraffe , painted with Daniel Smith watercolor paints, I love the granulation effects these paints provide with their vibarent and muted colours

Painted on 300gsm 140lb Arches fine grain 100 % cotton paper 23x31cm

I prefer cold press paper with its natural, harmonious grain, which is suited to the majority of the techniques I use on my subject matters.

It reflects the light and gives the pigments a sublimely transparent effect,

All my paintings come unframed I recommend using a border to frame your artwork this stops the glass from touching the painted surface which will prolong the life of the artwork.

I hope you will love this painting as much as I do
