I've always found feathers so beautiful, the way they look and their delicate movements when riding on a breeze. At some point in my life, someone mentioned that the feather that had been blown towards me and landed at my feet represented a loved one that had passed away, that stayed with me ever since.
Throughout many cultures, feathers are thought to be a symbol of the spiritual realms, each colour having a particular meaning. A silver feather is thought to represent honour and courage. In the Christian faith a feather is associated with the presence of Angles.
