I found this pattern in a magazine and it was just right for using up yarn left over from previous projects. I love the contrast between the orange and white.

Full description
This bright jumper is hand knitted in a soft baby yarn. The ribbed borders and neckline are worked in the peach colour, the yoke is white and the bottom is worked in broad stripes of orange and narrow stripes of white. The jumper fastens on the shoulder with three orange buttons.
The yarn is 55% nylon 45% acrylic and is machine washable.
The pattern size used is for a 6-12mth old baby and has the following measurements: chest 48cm, length 24cm and the sleeve seam is 15cm
