Lots of colour has been used to create this panel of flowers and stems which would be best positioned where the light can shine through.
Measuring approximately 20cm by 10cm, each flower on this panel has been hand cut and arranged onto a piece of clear glass before being fired twice in the kiln, once to a temperature of 760 degrees centigrade to fuse the coloured elements to the clear glass base while keeping lots of texture. The second firing then causes the glass to shape itself to a mould and fold to make a stand.
