'Hoopoe' An original, hand burnished Linocut Print that is part of a limited Edition and is titled and signed.
It has been hand carved and printed with pink, oil based block printing ink. This interesting bird can be recognised by its wonderful crown of feathers (I like to call it the Punk Bird). Like the cuckoo, the hoopoe's name is onomatopoeic, as it is named after its soft, far-carrying song poo-poo-poo.
