I use a lot of old and damaged books in my work, and often find volumes that can't be sold and would other wise go to landfill. So I decided to make beautiful things with them, to give them another life.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
A pretty paper heart garland created using Shakespeare book pages. Strung on natural linen, it makes a fitting gift for book lovers, or as a decoration for your whatever space you choose. They are also popular as wedding decorations, or romantic Valentine's decor too.
A unique and literary home decoration, the garland is made using only damaged books that would go to landfill. The paper colours are in a pale neutral range, and do differ a little depending on which edition I am using. But largely they are in the pale beige/cream range.
The dimensions of the garland are:
10 feet (appx 3.2 yards or 3 metres) in length.
Strung with 8 ornaments, each approximately 4in x 4in (11cm x 11cm).
Strung on durable 100% linen twine, which tones with the colour of the paper.
You will receive the galrnd flat packed handily to fit through you letterbox. Everything you need is supplied in the pack and construction is simple one step process, with paper fastenings supplied.
I can supply these in varying lengths, so please do ask if you would like a custom item!
