Full description
Striking black and red necklace made from shiny, 8mm, Czech 'Siam Ruby' glass ab hearts, and assorted black Onyx beads, embellished with sparkly Swarovski bicones in the colour 'light Siam'.
As a centrepiece, I have made a pendant from one of the hearts, topped with a pair of Swarovski crystals and a 6mm faceted black Onyx bead, highlighted by 2mm gold vermeil rounds.
The pendant is set between six hearts separated by five 6mm faceted black Onyx beads, bracketed by a Swarovski crystal.
The Swarovski crystals are highlighted by tiny 2mm gold vermeil beads and 4mm black Onyx.
The glass hearts are in a colour called 'Siam Ruby', after the rich red rubies of Thailand, and have a special coating on the rear called 'aurora borealis' or 'ab' which intensifies their colour and shine - the last photo shows the ab coating.
The necklace continues on each side with two rows of 6mm smooth black Onyx with a central faceted Onyx bead, embellished with firstly a Swarovski crystal, and then a heart.
The necklace then graduates to 4mm frosted and smooth black Onyx beads, and ends with a rose Toggle clasp with an antique gold finish.
This toggle clasp is easy to fasten, and is nickel and lead free.
This necklace measures approximately 16.5 inches (42cm), excluding the pendant, which is 2.75 inches (3cm) ling.
Your necklace will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a pretty organza gift bag.
