During winter months it’s important to capture as much sunlight as we can to get our daily amount of vitamin D but also for that feel good factor we get.

I am such a sunflower fan and always have them blooming in my garden.

But did you know….

The Sunflower is called a Tournesol in French which translates literally to Turned Sun. At bud stage they have a unique trait called Heliotropism, where it will turn towards the sun at all times throughout the day. No wonder they grow so tall and beautiful!
