A love of the sea, Scotland’s coasts and islands, and the joys of growing and drying flowers for use in the home has led our family to establish Scents of Arran.
We’re passionate about island living, and sharing the multi-sensory wellbeing benefits of being close to plants and flowers.
Making sure we do this in a sustainable way, choosing recycled, re-usable and eco-friendly supplies, packaging and production methods, is equally important to us. It’s a learning process, and one that we are fully committed to.
We‘re also committed to providing the best customer service, so we promise to reply quickly to your messages and take on board your feedback.

Full description
Who doesn’t love daffodils? With 36 known species, and many 1000s of varieties, this beautiful and intricate flower is recognised around the world as nature’s herald, announcing that Spring has arrived, and associated with many positive feelings including joy, hope and good fortune. The daffodil is also a symbol of new beginnings and friendships, and is celebrated by our celtic neighbour as the national flower of Wales.
Our cottage garden bursts into life each year thanks to mass of daffodils we’ve planted over the years in the flower beds, lining the paths and throughout our small orchard. We have carefully dried their petals, along with some sunflower petals, to embed together in this hand-poured container candle. Using only the best quality, eco-friendly soy wax and a sustainable beeswax wick our hand-poured, bright yellow candle is infused with a rich fragrance oil which gives it a fresh, lightly vanilla scent. Its large glass container also not only looks good, but is perfect for many years’ re-use as a vase or jar in your home.
