Full description
For thesel earrings I have combined the beauty of coloured titanium with classic sterling silver. Titanium is lightweight and displays an attractive range of shades which really come to life when the light hits it.
I have hand sawed the discs from titanium sheet and have given them a hammer textured finish to create an interesting finish and slightly concave shape before colouring. I have then hung sterling silver chain below for an elegant look.
The titanium discs measure approximately 18 mm across and the overall drop measures approximately 5.2 cm. I have hung them from sterling silver earring wires which I have also hand made.
The colouring process makes these earrings unique and one of a kind which means that no one else will have ones that are identical.
Titanium is a hard wearing lightweight metal suitable for every day wear, however care should be taken not to scratch the surface as the colours are contained in an oxidised surface layer. Titanium doesn't tarnish however if you wish to clean it you can do so in warm soapy water, without using any abrasives and dry with a soft cloth.
These earrings come gift packaged.
