Handmade sea glass jewellery & whimsical watercolour paintings of the Scottish seaside and its adorable wildlife. Based in the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland, I create coastal-inspired gifts including jewellery, limited edition prints, cards, coasters, tea towels and more!

A sea pottery heart picture handmade from beautiful antique blue and white Scottish beach china. These sea-worn ceramic fragments wash up on the beautiful beaches in the East Neuk of Fife in Scotland. Often featuring the famous 'willow' pattern, much of the pottery dates back to the Victorian era, when ceramic factories threw their 'seconds' into the sea and locals used to cast their broken pottery into the waves for good luck! The pottery has been gently worn smooth by the rough Scottish seas but the patterns and colours remain vibrant, a testament to the manufacturing processes of the time.
Each heart is guaranteed to be absolutely unique!
This original seaside art comes in a wooden box frame and measures 18cm square. Please choose your frame colour, either white wood or rustic washed wood (Item: 2538)
