My inspiration for this piece came from trying to create something which combined prettiness, functionality and personalisation.

Are you a 'Kate' or know someone who is? I made this unique and one of a kind name art with you in mind!
I combined two crafts to make this very special and eyecatching piece. I crocheted each letter, which I then trimmed by hand with gold metallic thread.
To complete this beautiful textile, I added extra embellishment using the craft of tatting to form a beautiful border for the name.
This name art textile would look fabulous displayed flat, and even more striking in a frame.
- Each letter is approx 1.5 inches square (4cm
- Fuchsia cotton perle thread which has a slight sheen
- The whole piece measures approx. 6 ins high (15cm) and approx. 5 ins wide (13cm).
