Waxed cotton is strong, stylish and water resistant. (My own waxed cotton version of this bag is still going strong after more than a decade.) This classic brown waxed cotton goes well with the beautiful interior, Kandahar, a vintage curtain fabric designed by Sanderson that is stunning and durable. Both fabrics are sturdy, so this may literally be a bag for life!

One-off luxury grocery shopping bag. Each bag is made with a unique combination of fabrics. This combo has a timeless brown waxed cotton exterior with a vintage Sanderson flower print in burnt orange and gold on the interior. Green, blue and pink top stitching complements the colours of the fabrics and adds bright accents.
I love this cute market bag design by michellepatterns (michellepatterns.com). Reinforced seams give the bag strength and durability. The handles open wide for easy access to a spacious interior that accommodates plenty. Over time the corners lay flat so the bag holds a boxy shape at the base easily. This foldable bag is easy to store. Great for grocery shopping, as a work bag, picnic bag, beach bag – whenever you are out and about.
