We love interesting and unusual fabrics that we can upcycle, the fabric itself often inspires a new project! We recently noticed that certain beaded necklaces did not seem to sell in charity shops. And voila a match made in heaven.

Beautiful and unusual fabric covered beaded necklace.
This necklace has been made with beads from a charity shop necklace and covered with fabric upcycled from a vintage headscarf. The striped fabric includes, mustard, cream, sage, and brown.
The fabric has been stitched to form a tube to contain the beads and then knotted to hold the beads in place.
This necklace is 74cms in length. The beaded section is 24cms, leaving 50cms that can be tied so that the length is adjustable.
