Additional terms
You can cancel the order and get a refund from the maker within seven days after receipt of the item, provided the item has not been used. Faulty items can be returned within six months of payment being made. However, if the item has been returned from a location outside of the UK, any custom charges incurred will be taken from the refund. Fabric cut to order and embroidered artwork cannot be returned unless faulty.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Gilt broad plate no.6 is a fine flat metal ribbon used in traditional goldwork embroidery.
Width approx 1.5mm.

To use, make a small fold under on the plate and catch this down with the sewing thread. Then bend it back and forth over anarea ensuring the fabric underneath is covered, working a stitch in each bend to hold it in place. This item comes coiled up in an acid free bag, on a reel of acid free tissue paper.
Handmade in the UK.
I endeavour to provide fair shipping charges, however if the actual shipping cost is considerably less than the listed shipping cost, then I will refund the difference, allowing a little for packaging and my time. I do not charge more if shipping is higher than expected.
