It's now definitely Xmas Shopping time! Folksy is packed full of fabulous gift ideas and of course SPOONS are at the top of my suggestions list - they are long-lasting, planet-friendly, practical, postable and can be personalised to make the perfect gift for anybody, whether it's a budget buy for the office secret santa, a stocking filler for your partner, a joke present for your best mate or a classy offering for those well-off rellies who have everything (tip: I bet they don't have one of my spoons).

Full description
A nice little gift for a coffee-loving classicist or a Latin-speaking coffee drinker... indeed for anyone in need of a little bit of daftness to get them through the day. It's a hand stamped vintage silver plated coffee spoon with the Latin slogan 'VIVAMVS ATQUE AMEMVS' ('let's live and love') in black lettering in the bowl, and it's approximately 11cm long. It's an 'apostle' spoon with a little robed figure on the handle terminal.
This listing is for ONE spoon. You will receive the spoon shown in the photographs. The lettering is coloured black with a non-toxic, water-based acrylic ink. Wash carefully by hand as the colour is not indestructible - the lettering, however, is stamped into the metal and should last pretty much as long as the spoon does.
Please note this is a vintage spoon so it has a bit of tarnish and some hairline scratches and wear marks in the plating. This spoon has been around a bit and has character. It's a survivor. If you were looking for a mirror-finished brand new spoon, this isn't one. Just so you know.
